10 Years Ago Today: Windows on a Mac
Today in 1997 Connectix (the company behind the wickedly popular RAM Doubler, and the golf ball-esque QuickCam) shipped Virtual PC, a PC emulation product originally for Macs, to the world. Since software package used emulation and not virtualization, the performance was abismal.
